Independent, cosy, and full of character, The Weirside was created as a welcoming local where good drinks and good company come first. Open for just over a year, the pub has quickly become known for its relaxed atmosphere, carefully kept real ales, friendly service, and warm interiors filled with quirky artwork, dark tones, and personal touches.

We’re proud to offer a rotating range of real ales, craft beers, wines, and spirits, alongside a selection of classic bar snacks, perfect whether you’re stopping by for a quick pint or settling in for the evening. Quality beer is at the heart of what we do, with a focus on independent breweries and well-kept cask ales.

In the warmer months, our riverside seating area offers a quieter spot to unwind beside the water, while inside you’ll find cosy corners, soft lighting, and the now well-known Weirdside mural adding to the pub’s character.

We also host regular Sunday quiz nights, welcoming locals, visitors, and four-legged friends alike, all welcomed by The Weirside’s pub dog, Max.
